Hunting

Hunting opportunities in North Baldwin County are plenty. The Mobile –Tensaw Delta Upper and Lower Wildlife Management Areas offer public hunting for all types of game. Duck, wild hogs, whitetail deer, squirrel and turkey are just a few.

If you would rather hunt with a group of companions, many hunting clubs are available also. These groups of hunters pool their resources and lease hunting rights from area land owners. Rules are established by the club and hunters “sign out” certain areas to hunt each day. Usually hunting clubs offer more safety and organization than you’ll find in public lands.

In the Black Belt area, many hunting lodges offer packaged hunts. These are usually 3 days and include meals, lodging and a guide.
