Junior Ambassadors

From hanging out with the SWAT team and touring the Alabama State Capital in Montgomery to learning how to build credit or start a small business, the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce Junior Ambassadors have the opportunity to participate in a gamut of exciting and interesting “class days,” while working towards scholarships. Since its inception in 2014, over 100 students have graduated from the competitive program only open to high school Seniors in the North Baldwin area, including homeschool and virtual students as well as Seniors at Baldwin County High. With a strong program foundation, our Junior Ambassador Steering Committee has been able to build
and evolve the leadership series over the last couple of years to offer a fully loaded schedule, packed with more opportunities, experiences, and activities than ever before. From September to April, students learn about various topics including but not limited to small business, history, civic responsibility, industry, local government, workforce and economic development, life skills, and so much more! Students also interact and connect with community leaders, business professionals, and elected officials throughout the program, volunteer at events, attend meetings of their local government, tour and participate in hands-on activities, hear from various speakers on relevant topics, and experience firsthand the role of the Chamber of Commerce in a community.

At the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to provide an exceptional experience for every Junior Ambassador, encompassing all the aspects that make North Baldwin an outstanding place to live, work, shop, eat, and play. We are so proud of this program and owe our generous sponsors and partners a huge thank you for helping make this beneficial program a success.
